whew, that is tough.
one thing that i have learned over the years is that as a Christian, i tend to overthink things a lot.
being a Christian is not a confusing thing. its about loving God and showing others his love. thats what its all about
you screw up, you let people down, but thats when you pick back up where you left off.
God isn’t on his throne with a tally pad, making marks for all the bad things we do. he sent Jesus to take care of those things a LOOONNGGG time ago. God has FORGOTTEN our mistakes and our sins… he just wants to lift us up.
if you love God with all your heart, you become more like Him, just like in a relationship with someone you love– everyone becomes more like the person they marry or date or whatever.
theres no need to strive for perfection and compare yourself to those who aren’t Christians. who cares how good or bad they are? they have one thing in common, and thats that they need God. and its our job to bring God to them through us.
sorry for rambling… other things came to mind, but those are just a few.
